About the Artist

Beth A. Moore is a mixed-media artist with a focus on encaustic (wax) techniques.

Growing up with little resources for creating art has taught her to draw on unconventional materials, using found objects and repurposed items. This is reflected in the eclectic style of her artworks.

Her pieces are mostly formalist, focusing on the overall composition of the piece. Some works have a theme throughout the images and objects while others are simply aesthetic choices.


She spends her time creating, caring for cats, and teaching as an elementary art teacher.
